I’m writing this from St. Petersburg, FL! We are here visiting Daniel’s Grandma for the weekend, and we head back home tomorrow night. We both have to work remotely from here tomorrow, but staying the extra day allowed us to have two full days to spend with his Grandma and his aunt who also lives… continue reading

July Favorites
I’m back with another update on my favorites from the month. So far, my monthly favorites have been a very random assortment of things, and July is no different. Let me know in the comments if you have tried any of these things! Movie Begin Again Earlier this month, Daniel and I went to see… continue reading
The Sunday Currently, Volume 35
It has been another weekend on the road. I’m not complaining – I love road trips! This weekend we drove down to Wake Forest, NC (which is near Raleigh) to visit my cousin Josh and his wife Meredith. We had a blast! Friday we drove down right after work. It took about five hours with… continue reading

Travel With Me // London – Planning & Other Recommendations
Today, I bring you the third and final post in my series on our trip to London this past May! This post will be much shorter than the other two. I just wanted to have a place where I could share how we planned our trip and any tips and tricks that we picked up on along the way. I won’t get into the details of our trip in this post, but if you are interested in seeing detailed information about what we did in London,… continue reading
Weekly Wishes #26
This morning, I left home (DC) for Atlanta on a 7am flight for a work meeting. Three hours ago I was already back home on my couch! Needless to say, it has been a long day of travel, so this will be short and sweet.
Each week, I link up with The Nectar Collective to join the community of bloggers who share their goals for the week. I’m continuing to update my goals for the entire month of July rather than having a new set of goals each week. Right now, thinking about my to-dos in this big picture format has been working the best for me. I’m consider changing the format up yet again sometime soon to give updates only twice a month because they are obviously repetitive, and I think reporting updates on the same goals four times a month is a bit excessive.

Today’s the day! I’m changing up my blog design. This will also mean that my blog will no longer be associated with www.everydayaccountsblog.com. You can find me at www.everydayaccountsblog.com for every post after this one. If you currently follow me on Bloglovin at my wordpress.com site, follow my new blog with Bloglovin here.
Daniel and I just got back from a quick one-night trip to Gettysburg. Yesterday we spent the afternoon doing a self-guided auto tour of the Civil War battlefields. We picked up our CDs at the Visitor Center Gift Shop. The tour took about three hours long if you add up the time spent stopping and looking at sites as well as the driving between stops and listening to the audio on the CD. It was pretty fascinating.

Scenes From the Week // 01
Today I’m going to write about my week for two reasons: (1) I don’t have the time or energy to finish the post I was planning to share today and (2) I think I would like to record more of my daily life on this blog. So, I’m calling today’s post Scenes From the Week #1 just in case I want to make a series out of this. I cover my weekends in my The Sunday Currently post every Sunday, so I’ll stick to weekdays in these posts…. continue reading

Sometimes I wonder why I post these goals updates, but then I remember how much I am motivated by reading other people’s goals, and I also think about the encouragement I have gotten from doing this link-up. For these reasons, I definitely want to continue doing these posts, at least for the time being. I don’t expect that most people would like reading goals updates, but that’s okay!
